අද (13) දහවල් කොළඹ සිට කටුනායක දක්වා අධිවේගි මාර්ගයේ ගමන්ගත් සුභඛෝපභෝගි ලංගම බස් රියක් ජාඇල පිවිසුම අසලදී හදිසියෙම ගිනි ගත්තේය. මෙම අවස්ථාවේ මගීන් 41 දෙනෙක් එහි ගමන් කරමින් සිටි අතර කිසිවකුට අනතුරක් සිදු වී නැත.
මගීන් වෙනත් බස් රථවලින් ගමනාන්තය දක්වා පිටත් කර යැවූ අතර මුළුමණින්ම ගිනිගත් බස් රථය පසුව බෝපිටිය පොලිසිය වෙත ගෙන ගොස් තිබේ. ගින්නට හේතුව ඇන්ජිම අසල විදුලිය කාන්දුවක් බව ලංගම කාර්මික නිලධාරින් විශ්වාස කරති.
මගීන් වෙනත් බස් රථවලින් ගමනාන්තය දක්වා පිටත් කර යැවූ අතර මුළුමණින්ම ගිනිගත් බස් රථය පසුව බෝපිටිය පොලිසිය වෙත ගෙන ගොස් තිබේ. ගින්නට හේතුව ඇන්ජිම අසල විදුලිය කාන්දුවක් බව ලංගම කාර්මික නිලධාරින් විශ්වාස කරති.
A fire has been reported inside a SLTB bus that was travelling along the Colombo- Katunayake Expresseway.There had been forty two passengers in the bus. However, the police stated that their were no casualties reported.According to the Police Media Unit, the bus which had been travelling from Colombo to Katunayake, had caught on fire at around 11.25 Thursday afternoon in the 15.4 kilometre area near Ja-Ela.
Police said that the cause of the fire has still not been ascertained.
